1974年福岡生まれ。10代半ばにパンクロックに衝撃を受けバンド活動を開始。その後はDJ、ギタリストとして音楽のフィールドで活動。2000年に始めた自転車との出会いをきっかけに、ライド中に目に入る風景を記録するために手にしたコンパクトカメラで写真の世界に魅了され、表現手段が音楽から写真へと変化し、写真家としての活動を始める。作家して作品の制作をメインに、エディトリアル、コマーシャル、ファッション、ライブ、アクティビティ、ポートレートなどで活動。エディトリアルを起点として、アートディレクションやデザインワークも行なっている。

Born in Fukuoka in 1974, he was deeply influenced by punk rock in his mid-teens and began playing in bands. He later expanded his musical pursuits as a DJ and guitarist. In 2000, his encounter with cycling led him to pick up a compact camera to capture the landscapes he saw during his rides. This marked the beginning of his fascination with photography, gradually shifting his creative focus from music to visual expression. Now working as a photographer, he primarily creates artistic works while also engaging in editorial, commercial, fashion, live event, activity, and portrait photography. Starting from editorial work, he has also expanded into art direction and design.
